Group Fitness The following classes are included with Lifestyle Fitness membership at no extra charge. Most classes are designed to accommodate all levels of ability and intensity depending on an individual’s goals and limitations. Days and times are listed on our Calendar of Events. Bodysculpt - A toning class that focuses on building muscular strength and endurance by using hand-held weights, bands, steps, and stability balls. BOSU Basic Training - Improve strength, balance and coordination utilizing the BOSU trainer, hand weights, medicine balls and body weight. Cardio & Core - Half the class is devoted to a cardio-vascular workout using the bikes and half is devoted to strengthening the hips, shoulders, abs, and back. Cardio Medley - New format each week including low impact aerobics, step, stability balls, circuit, and interval training. Core Express - This class incorporates exercises that will help improve the strength, coordination and flexibility of the muscles of the hips, shoulders and trunk. Full body functional exercises make this 30 minute class unique and fun. Cycle & Strength - An interval workout combining cycling with resistance training using weights, bands and exercise balls. Cycling - A great calorie-burning, non-impact class that targets the cardiovascular system while strengthening the lower body. All fitness levels are welcome. Nia® - A new class that fuses elements of martial arts, dance, and yoga into a total body movement activity. Nia is fun and effective as a low impact activity that is different from any that you have tried in the past. Pilates - A core conditioning class that promotes flexibility, strength, heightened body awareness, and coordination. Intermediate Pilates includes more advanced moves. Prior Pilates experience is recommended for Intermediate Pilates. Yoga - A great way to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and increase strength by learning proper breathing techniques and postures of Yoga. " |
